Cwmythig Hill is just 2 miles north of Rhayader on the B4518 (postcode LD6 5BU). From Rhayader town centre, simply follow signs for St Harmon Road and event signage will guide you the rest of the way. Parking for spectators will be clearly marked and marshals will direct you on arrival. Please allow extra time, as rural roads can be narrow and traffic heavier on event days.
By public transport
The nearest railway stations are Pen-y-Bont (9 miles) and Llandrindod Wells, both on the Heart of Wales Line. Regular buses run into Rhayader (routes X47 and X75) from nearby towns, and during the event shuttle buses will operate between Rhayader and Cwmythig Hill on select evenings. If you’re travelling by train, plan your connection times carefully, as services in mid-Wales can be limited.
